Our Parish Priest is Fr Robert Castello. He takes an active role and interest in the school and supports the nuturing of faith in the students. There is an active partnership between school and parish.

The Spiritual life of the school is enlivened through regular whole school and class masses, the Sacrament of Reconciliation, weekly prayer and reports of learning in Religious Education at assemblies, and by supporting local community initiatives. Children are made aware of social justice issues and are encouraged to support initiatives in the school to help those less fortunate than themselves.

Reflection days are offered for our senior students, often with external presenters, as a time for deepening their own spirituality. Prayer and meditation are a normal part of the school week. Sacramental preparation is currently school-based. Parish children, who do not attend our school, are included in our programs, with family group meetings for Eucharistic preparation and a Retreat Day for Confirmation candidates.

Pastoral Care of all in the community is a priority. Children at Our Lady Queen of Peace School combine their Catholic Faith and their educational learning to make sense of, and a difference to, the world around them.
